Supporting Strata Clean Energy’s Project Controls Transition and P6 Platform Maturity
Strata Clean Energy
Strata Clean Energy partnered with CMC Project Solutions to strengthen enterprise project controls operations during a period of organizational transition and platform maturation. As Strata continued scaling its clean energy portfolio, the need for consistent scheduling governance, stronger internal ownership, and more reliable reporting became increasingly important. CMC supported Strata across project scheduling, Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM administration, system governance, and operational planning alignment. The engagement focused on stabilizing day-to-day project controls execution, improving platform readiness, clarifying ownership and reporting expectations, and enabling a structured transition of knowledge and responsibilities to Strata’s internal team. In parallel, CMC also supported the alignment of Primavera P6 data structures with Strata’s reporting environment, helping ensure the organization had a stronger foundation for Power BI-based reporting and more consistent executive visibility.
Key challenges included:
Strata needed more than just tactical scheduling support. It needed a partner who could help stabilize operations, improve governance, support technical platform maturity, and help build internal readiness for the next phase of growth.
1. Stabilizing Enterprise Project Controls Operations CMC provided project scheduling support and operational planning guidance across active renewable energy projects while helping standardize how schedules were maintained, measured, and communicated.
This included:
2. Maturing the Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM Platform Beyond project-level support, CMC helped strengthen Strata’s Primavera P6 EPPM operating environment so the platform could better support long-term enterprise needs.
This included:
3. Enabling Internal Team Readiness and Transition A central objective of the engagement was helping Strata reduce transition risk and build internal capability.
CMC structured knowledge transfer around both project execution and platform administration, including:
This allowed Strata to successfully build up its internal team while maintaining operational continuity.
4. Supporting Reporting Alignment and Data Readiness While Strata developed its own reporting outputs, CMC helped support the upstream work required to make those reporting efforts more reliable and scalable.

Why It Matters
For growing renewable energy developers, project controls maturity is not just about having schedules in place. It is about building a system of execution that connects planning, governance, reporting, and internal ownership.
CMC’s work with Strata Clean Energy demonstrates how the right project controls partner can help an organization:
